The Australian National Cavy Show is the largest Cavy (Guinea Pig) Show in Australia and the premier event on every Cavy breeder’s calendar.

The show incorporates all the Cavy Clubs across all states of Australia and is on the 3rd Saturday of August each year.  Exhibitors  will travel from Tasmania, WA, NSW, Vic, Qld and SA. We expect over 500 cavies in Dubbo on show weekend.

There are 4 international Judges travelling from the UK to judge the show. Jayne Mathews, Rex Mathews, Amy Heale and Steve Davies. Each will be examining the entrants looking at the texture and length of coat, colour and markings, body shape size and confirmation.

Winning Best Cavy in Show at the National Show is the highest achievement an Australian Cavy enthusiast can achieve.  The show is at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Conference Centre Saturday 17th August 2024 from 10 am – 3 pm.
